Our much loved 1993 abbey is showing signs of his age. The veneer is flaking from the wood work. I've recovered the tablle top with wood look sticky back plastic but can't see myself covering every bit of wood this way. Anyone suggestions? Is there anything like a pen or paint where I could touch up the bald bits?

There are furniture touch up pens available (Like this), but I think they are mainly for covering scratches or minor marks.

Depends how bad yours is.
