Hi sorry if this topic has been covered. I have an Elddis whirlwind XL caravan and I am not getting any water through my hot tap? the pump from the aqua roll is fine cos getting cold water from taps, the water heater is working fine (or the lights suggest it is) but there is no water from the tap in the bathroom or the kitchen basin. Is there anyone who has an idea what this could be and could it be done DIY or is it a job for a trained caravan mechanic.

normally if there is no water showing at the hot taps and you have a carver 2 water heater,it is the non return valve that has stuck or blocked.this means no water is getting into the water heater.replace the non return valve to cure this problem.to test non return valve.set up as normal and remove the drain outside and get someone to turn on the pump,water should gush out of the drain hole.if only a trickle then the one way valve is blocked.

Have you tried opening the shower taps? It could simply be an air lock.

One way of sorting a air lock is too put your finger over the mixer tap and open both taps, the cold will feed into the hot filling the system with water.
