I have a small crack on a avondale caravan roof .the roof material looks like plastic can anyone give advice on how to repair

For right now stick some Gaffer tape or Duct tape over the crack to stop water getting in.

You could do a search to see how people repaired their shower basins that had cracks as this might help.

I have read about it before and checked mine and at the time it was OK.
Not checked since but it was not an isolated incident.

I had the idea of repairing it with resin to make it water tight. Then add a vinyl strip with a logo or something over the area to give it an extra layer of protection.

Depends where the crack is. Would a strip across that area with the model name or similar look OK?

If its near the corner how about a corner flash with a logo?

on the roof you could try pond tape from the garden centre.no water gets through that stuff.
