I have done all the research needed for very large damp repair job, rear of van and entire length down one side totally sodden and damp, have good carpentry skills and know all the items needed for this big job, right glue, sealant etc but what i am struggling with is the order in which to do this job?

I have repaired rear wall and window etc quite easily but along long wall the uprights, lower and middle rail timbers were like butter so have started to remove timber. (So all that is left is the screws coming through) just not sure which order to do the next part in, do i remove all screws and rail from top rail first replacing uprights then do middle and lower? Also am worried about the structure strength removing such a large amount of screws. Is it best to remove lower rail and screws then bond timber then refix rail then screws or remove rail and screws bond rail back on then bond timber then replace screws? also read that you should dip screw ends in sikaflex before screwing into aluminium and timber???

hope this description isnt too confusing will be uploading loadsa pics tonight but any help would be much appreciated as really cracking on with it now.

I think you be better just doing sections at a time, so you wont buckel the side of the van.Just try and copy that long side rail timber that holds the awning rail if you can. dont want that in small sections. yes to dipping as you say the screws in sikaflex.Just try and keep the side as you go as solid as you can. good luck
