Hi I have a Abi Dawnstar 1997,with damp at front end. Ive seen on other posts to stop water getting in first, whats the best tape to use for this or anything else?
If you know where the water is getting in, do a temporary repair with duct tape. Its wide grey or black heavy tape, B&Q, Halfords or any diy shop will have it.
Clean the surface and apply with some heat from a hairdryer. It won't come off easily then. In fact you'll be cursing my suggestion when you come to reseal as it'll take ages cleaning the tape residue off.
