i am new to the site and new to caravanning (upgraded from our tent). have part-exed my first ever 'leaky old caravan' for a lovely adria altea. had a look at all advice on here to try and understand her ways. am i right in thinking that the only way to use the electrics is through EU? can i use a ctek XS3600 smart charger? will this mean that the battery will be charged so that the electrics (except obviously the sockets) can be used without EU? will this effect the battery? can it be left connected...and the battery will charge when not in use? any other advice, bearing in mind that i am not too technically minded but follow good instruction.

A lot of mainland EU vans don't come equipped with an on board charger or battery, if it is an aftermarket addition then it may well be equipped with a ctec charger and battery.
