Hi guys, New here and relatively new to caravaning.
Last summer we purchased our first van, an Abbey County Dorset GT. 2 birth. It's old but pretty good all round. The interior is very good and comfy, plenty of room for 2, however the seats and curtains are very dated and have faded.
I don't really want to recover them, but would like something a little fresher. Are there any later vans with seats that are the same or that could be easily made to fit? Curtains too.
I've got a few small jobs to tackle and some mods to make. But think some fresher seats would make a big difference.
We have an Abbey Iona of 1995 vintage. My wife has made new curtains and we have steam cleaned the seat upholstery. The seats are now cleaner and the curtains have really 'lifted' the interior. All we need do now is tackle the carpet, which may be a trip to a carpet store for an end of roll.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
