Hello. Can anyone help me? I have a problem with my Carver Fanmaster Warm Air Fan Heater, the fan is blowing cold, panel showing heater fault.I havnt tried the reset button because I cannot find it.Can anyone advise me please?
The reset button if I remember is actually on the back of the unit. A few vans ago I was able to access it by just sliding out a drawer and get my arm in to press the reset.

thanks for the prompt reply i will be at the caravan this weekend so i will take a torch and have a good look round and hope it solves the problem. thanks again.
It won't solve the problem directly as the heaters control does not know the overheat reset switch exists!
What though I'm confused about is the fans working but the control is flashing? if it detects a fault it should not switch anything on!
Normally, the control continuing to flash slowly a few seconds after switching on will be some other problem, most common fault to check this time of year is the battery is charged so a good 12 volts is getting to the Fanmaster
sorry youre confused, the control/thermostat only flashes for a second or two,the fault light is the pms below the heater light, the battery reading heathly, having said all that after rooting around the cover i found a plastic coverplate but could not open it,however i was able to put pressure on this and then switch it on lo and behold it worked, thats it till next week, fingers crossed. thanks foe the comments
Good afternoon everyone, new user here I’ve just bought an old Abbey GTS caravan and taken it away for the weekend. The fan master was working perfectly and now only blows cold air. The fan master is located behind the gas fire as a complete unit in the cupboard, after reading previous answers, I can’t seem to find a reset switch. Can anyone help please?
Hi. I have a problem with a fan master unit. It's all clean on and around the fan and it can go for months and not over heat but every now and then it does. Is this issue solvable or something that I need to put up with. Regards lee
you wont find or see anything, its a "trust me its there" type of thing, put your arm in the back of it and about a third of the way down and about 4 inches in on the left you need to press the back of the unit. quite firmly too.
