Hi I am hoping some one can help please. The roof seal on my kip kompakt 37ekv caravan is starting to degrade. Its probably ok for now but does anyone know where I can source a new compatible seal in the UK.Its about 30mm deep and runs round the pop up part of the roof.
Also advice on gas struts if poss. One of the struts on the pop top keeps sticking. I understand these do not require lubricating so wondered if it needs re-gassing ? or any advice appreciated. I'm in Bradford if anyone knows somewhere local. Many thanks.

I've seen a secondhand kip for sale at Campers&Leisure down here in Hampshire. Might be worth giving them a ring about seal and strut?
Also try a search on here in the folding campers section for gas/gas struts/gas legs. I remember some recommendations on an old thread.

You can't regas a strut, you have to buy them new. As pointed out, you may have to source one from Kip which might be difficult in UK. If you have a search round you might get one from Holland. Dutch firms will normally answer emails in English.

Hi I spoke to sgs engineering in the uk (found some old threads about gas struts) and they can most likely regas the strut if i send it to them at a cost of approx £8 plus vat & delivery or £27.71 inc delivery for a new one (link for the kip kompakt one if anyone needs it)

I have just ordered a new one. I have also spoken to sealsdirect and was asked to send some photos. I await a response but customer services said they will most likely beable to match it so I am hoping.Many thanks for your responses. Very helpful.
