I just bought one off ebay - no manual or anything. Has anyone either got one they could email me a copy of (faint hope) or any advice on fitting it?

From Alko website this not for 2000 but should tell you all you need to know. Fitting is simple enough & self explanatory if you can use tools. Remember front of hitch damper inside draw tube is held by rear fixing bolt.

just googled alko 2000   on anothere site thay say its the same as alko 2700

If you visit the website 'youtube' and enter the search 'How to fit the AKS 3004 stabiliser' it will show you. It doesn't matter what model the stabiliser is as the principal is identical for replacing any type of hitch.

As above dont forget the securing pin to lock the damper otherwise you may not catch it when you bolt the hitch on.

Then your van will shunt forwards and backwards everytime you slow/speedup.

Also make sure you fit the correct spacer ring for your hitch.

They are all pretty similar to be fair.

As mentioned above, I too was of the impression that the 2000 was the same as the 2700; the manual for the 2700 is available from Al-ko via this link.

I thought the 3004 was just the 2004 + lock etc?

2004 = just the hitchhead and bolts, Spacer plates?

3004 includes the red hitch lock and something else i forget?
