HELP :( :( Newbie with an old van....and a smelly battery charger :( Vanner friend suggested new charger....cant find anything like ours :( Glastonbury fast approaching and no battery charger :(

this is the link of the site that shows a battery charger the same as mine - german I know but pictures are the same as mine :(

PLEASE HELP :(

You need to fit a new transformer/charger if your old one has had it. The one you link to is 20amp & anything similar will do the job ie here or your local caravan shop should stock them.

If you just want fully charged battery though for site with no mains ehu then you can charge it from a charger at home before you go. If you have twin sockets on your car & plug in both caravan cables then battery should also charge from car as you drive along if correctly wired.

These Schaudt units are very good units, well worth considering having it repaired.
