I have a 1990 Abbey Piper 5 berth.
The ceiling about 1.5m-2m above the front end has drooped by about 25mm, Indicating a damp problem.

What is the other side of the ceiling board ?

Is it a difficult job to take the ceiling board out to repair the problem?

At a guess, I would say a cavity made up of insulation (glass wool), wiring, roof framework (battens) and the aluminium skin which flops around on top.

Taking the old ceiling out is easy, putting the new one in is a slightly different matter.
Make up some lengths of wood to fit between floor and ceiling to use as props for the new board, you will still need 15 hands.
Sort out the leak first otherwise your hard work will be wasted

Are you sure it's actually damp or just sagging? I know ours will push up a bit on the front curved section, but it's not damp.

if you have a status t.v ariel on the roof this could be the problem .we disposed of ours and i plated and sealed the opening ,never leaked since
