Hi, just returned from a weeks holiday in the caravan, been a bit of a test since I've spent a couple of months getting it right for the holiday.
All went well, caravan included, but one big problem is the squeaky cupboard doors, not just one, but all of them.
They have a long spring type plunger, & when you open them they let off a horrible squeaky noise, especially first thing in the morning, it echoes around the caravan site.
I've took them to bits, & it's not the door hinge, the plunger type spring thing doesn't make a noise either, but when it's put together that's when the problem starts...I've tried using oil/candle wax but to no avail.
Is there a quick fix..?..or should I replace the hinges with maybe magnetic ones.?
Cheers,
K.

Hi, give hinges, stays and pivot points a good spray with silicon spray. then work them a few times. advantage of silicon spray is that its not oily and any excess will just polish off.
