just bought a Avondale golden eagle went away and water coming in front window I had a look to change seal and timber is rotten around the window is this a difficult job for a DIY any help appreciated
I replaced all the timbers in the front of my old avondale kestrel a few years back.straight forward once you have removed front trims,3 windows.and any furniture fixed to window shelf above and below.i also found the front timbers that hold the sides to the front were rotten so awning rails had to be removed.also bottom shelf below windows was shot.sounds bad but really is easy.
