Hi I have an abbey impression 500 2003 van fixed bed. I have had a big problem with the water since I got the caravan earlier this year. I have truma crystal 2 compact system, with onboard water tank. When I switch the water on inlet pump it does not flow from any tap, however the red light shows pump run. If I put it on ext pump it runs slow and goes a little quicker on tank fill. I have 2 brand new pumps I have 2 new taps I can't see any kinks in pipes. I'm completely stuck as to what is wrong please help thanks

I don't have this system, but looking on google it appears to have one at the inlet housing which can be prevented from working if the pipe clip is overtightened. Page 7 on HERE
not sure if this applies to you though.

Hi I have checked the return valve on the inlet by taking it out and putting a tap on and it works well. The flow is very good when not connected to pipes. I wonder if there is no power going to it or there is a short any ideas? Thanks

Is it possible to remove the innards of the non return valve at the housing and check if the system works then?

Hi Jamie, brother in law had the same problem with his caravan he bought a few months back.
It was still with a bit warranty, the outfit he bought it off sent a bloke out to the caravan site he was on.

What had happened was the material used to filter the water had made it's way into the systems water pipes, (supposed to have had a service before he picked it up..) the caravan bloke had to use compressed air in the end to clear the lines.

Maybe not your problem, but worth a look.

Hope it's of help,

K.
