Just wondering if anyone knows of a caravan breaker in the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire area . I'm in need of a window stay in grey for the large rear window on my sterling europa 500L classic as the knob that tightens to hold the window open has broken off its the lefthand side one as you look at the window from inside the van and its 300 mm long
These screw parts that others have pointed you to are really easy to replace.
You biggest job will be getting the old bits off.
In the end I used a Dremel cutting blade to cut through the plastic to a point where I could withdraw the old pin and get the housing off.
i replaced the pair on my large front window.. both the lockng end and the other end.. i came to the conclusion that whilst okay on smaller windows.. wonderfully so.. they are not really up to the job of supporting the very large front one.. which is why they break.. he he..
