Hello everybody. I've bought two new light fittings complete to replace the corroded number plate lights on my Bailey Pageant Auvergne (they fit either side of the number plate). The new new fittings are secured by means of 2 bolts, each held by a nut that fits behind the fibreglass panel on the rear of the caravan. How do I get my hand behind the rear panel to tighten the nut??

I personally would put some sealant on the back of them and a couple of self tappers. Nuts and bolts seem a tad over the top for number plate lights!

Drill them out to fit screws or use some form of blind hole fixing. Rivnut or similar.

As the previous post said they wont be a high load fixing so a decent exterior grade glue/silicone etc should be enough to secure it/them.
