can some one tell me what the diameter of pipe/hose is likely to be on an old swift please as i want to cut off at the joint to the toilet basin as it is so small and get a stop end cap for the pipe...thanks

How old is old?

Freshwater or waste? Ive seen everything from 6mm to 20mm on inlet pipes.

And 15mm to 40mm on waste pipes.

Capped inside the van or under the van? If its under the van then a bolt or pin wrapped in PTFE tape and secured with a clip will be plenty if it does weep it wont cause any harm. If its inside the van though you need to make sure there are no weeps or drips.

early 80s ,,,old old...its a 3 way water inlet pipe, in, toilet basin and kitchen sink...think the pipes are clear coloured if that helps :)
