Complete novice and no common sense it would appear! We have completely used all power in battery, didn't realise there was such a thing as a charging unit so hadn't turned it on.
Can the battery be charged from ehu or do I need to buy a battery charger?
Any help would be gratefully received....
Provided caravan is fitted with a charger & everything is working as it should be with no electrical butchery & modifications that might have taken place in the last 24yrs then plugging into ehu should charge up battery. Battery should also charge when you are towing provided both leads from caravan are connected to car.
Its hard to advise with no details but you need to do a bit of checking through your caravan. Do you have any knowledge of electrics, wiring & do you have ability to use hand tools?
