Good Day to you

We have only used our caravan so far in the winter in frost and snow. As you may imagine I have investigated all drafts and blocked/sealed up the ones surplus to requirements.

The heater blower blows exceptionally warm air through an internally routed conduit hose. This is in stark comparison to the other two hoses for the front and rear of the caravan which when investigated, run underneath the caravan before entering back inside to the vents, blowing out cooler air.

Has anyone encountered this problem and found a suitable solution?

Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Box them in with heat resistant insulation material.

Bit cautious about what vents you have blocked. There are no surplus ones, They are all there for a reason.

That's the problem with blown air heating unless the caravan has a layout allowing all internally run ducts.

You can usually run the heating without the fan which warms the van up much quicker then use the fan when it is warm.

I guess the pipes are about 3 inch diameter and you will need about 2 inches thick of insulation. The insulation needs to be waterproof as it will be sprayed when driving on wet roads. Wet insulation will not insulate.
