We have an Abbey Oxford county. The fanmaster heater won't work on electric ...fine on gas. When you press control buttons on wall the lights come on but keep flashing at the point you set it and heater doesn't come on. Can any one please advise??
The light continuing to flash slowly indicates a fault, first fault to check is low battery voltage.
After that the fault will be due to a problem on the main control board and or the control switch itself. Most often caused by worn fan motor.
Not always but in general all mk1 fanmasters are now at least 15yrs old so pretty well worn out, one solution then is an overhaul to restore it to perfect working order...I can do that or you if you so wish?
Unfortunately as I live in county Antrim it's not possible to have you fix it. We checked the voltage today and it was 12.7 so that rules that out. What do you suggest checking next. Sorry to bother you like this. Thanks for your help.
