If you have the handbook it will state Carver Cascade 'G' or 'GE' which means 'G' for 'Gas' and 'GE' for 'Gas/Electric'.
If you don't have the handbook then have a visual look at the end of the tank (opposite end to the caravan wall) and see if there is a rectangular box with a cable coming out. if there is then there will be an emersion switch in the caravan with a red light that illuminates when switched on (when hooked to mains electric). There will also be a reset button on the box which is a safety cut out device.
If it's gas operation only then there will only be one wall mounted on/off switch for gas operation only and no separate emersion electric switch with red light.
