Afternoon all,

My van isn't kept on my drive otherwise I'd just go and measure. Looking to re-seal awning rails and the rail where the roof meets the front just above the front windows.

Are these rails a standard size? I'm trying to work out which width roll mastic I should purchase in advance. I assume it should be the width of the rail plus a few mm each side?

I used 1 inch wide mastic strip where needed as there were gaps in the mastic strip when I took my rails off, I then went over with PU-18...

When the screws squeezed down, the excess squeezes out giving a 'belt and braces' seal.

Any excess is removed and smoothed out....
