Hi all, I'm looking for a bit of advice please

We are doing our own damp work after looking through the fab guides found on here.
We started by stripping out as much of the rotten stuff as poss and then had 2 heaters on full blast to dry it out. Next we carefully removed the awning rail and removed all the old mastic from the van and rail, omg what a nightmare job!
When we removed the rear rail we discovered the likely culprit for the damp. A piece of the ABS is broken and had what looks like gripfill holding it in place. The top surface was hard but as I chipped it away I found it was soft and wet so clearly this has been the problem. On the other awning rail we found more gripfill and we removed all that too.
So tonight 'Arge' is wrapped in polythene in case of rain and we will replce the awning rails tomorrow with the correct sealants etc.

We are going to attempt the ABS repair ourselves (2002 van) but we can't seem to find where to buy acetone, can anyone advise please? And where (apart from lego bricks) can I get some ABS? Thanks

Also,

Any car body shop or boat manufacture will have acetone and will probably sell a little as for ABS I'm afraid I've no idea.
