Please can anyone help, my fiat motorhome has blown the fuze on the light sercuut now the lights come on but a new fuze heats up fast and a batt warning come on the zig board I'm lost for ideas. I've taken every main light out but still the fuze gets well hot, I'm in arundel West Sussex if anyone knows anyone or could call just ask for my number have looked at all the wires and fuzes thks for any help. Hi Tricky, is the fuse getting hot because the holder, connecting wires or screws are loose ? It may be arcing causing it to get hot, you can normally see damage done if this is the case.
It may well be drawing that much current that the internal wire (in the fuse itself) is glowing, not a dead short but a much higher current than it should be.

Update thks Dave you were right another cable had got to close to the back of the fuze holder and arking over power, all fixed now and working fine, many thks
