That's what I used June this year after putting a new lip seal in the toilet it was a little stiff, always have a can of silicone spray in van also handy for awning zips

Silicone spray fixes it. If you need new seals then any large caravan shop will stock Thetford toilet parts.

Its something that needs to be done on a regular basis imo.
I use cheap olive oil, just because I have used it before silicon sprays were available but both will do the job.
I put a drop on the blade and operate it back and forth a few times as part of the routine van cleaning after every trip.------------- It is a wise man who has something to say.

WD40 will not do, it is oil based and will rot rubber and plastics.

WD40 NO NO NO,I used it on my water pump connectors and it rotted the rubber seals,silicone is the way to go,I use it on my toilet blade with good results
