I have dried on adhesive on the inside of front window.   Does anyone have any ideas of how to remove it without damaging the perspex please?

I used white spirit but wipe excess off straight away with paper towel.

Lighter fluid is very good on dried adhesive and tacky residue...

Many thanks to you both. Will try white spirit initially. I had been wondering whether or not it would react with the perspex but will wipe excess off immediately.

WD40 is also good for removing stubborn marks, but whatever you use, it is always best to try it on a small inconspicuous area first, especially if using white spirits/turps which might react with the plastic.

To remove contact carpet adhesive from perspex (in my case overspray from an aerosol can) a little petrol on a soft cloth did the trick.
