I have a pre-owned Bailey Pageant Majestic (Year 2000?) and although the pump works fine on high-pressure I just cannot get the low pressure side of things to work.
I have checked the fuses and wiring (everywhere that I can reach), but there is only 1.4v reaching the external pump connection, no voltage at the water pressure regulating valve, and the led on the Zig panel does not light.
13.4 volts is shown at the pump rocker switch in the Zig panel.
Any suggestion as to the cause/ what else I can check?

possibly a dodgy switch on the zig panel, had the same problem on the girlfriends van, the switch was sticking, gave it a good wiggle and it worked. possibly need a new switch (they dont cost much) couple of crimps and you will be fine. would also do a continuity test of the wires and check the connections at the pump, often they can be corroded

The switch & terminals appear to be okay - I shall have to knuckle down and check the continuity of the cables when I get a chance. (Not an easy task!)

steve, with a decent multimeter it isnt that bad a job, if you are getting some volts at the pump there is power getting there... still say give ther switch a good wiggle as it could be a dodgy contact inside
Problem now sorted - I have now found out that the 'Low' side of the switch is actually only of use if an on-board water tank is installed and the corresponding LED should only light if there is low water level.
As mine has an external water supply/pump, this setting is totally redundant.
The handbook states 'At normal flow rate the pump should operate continuously - but at low flow rates the pressure switch will cycle on and off to maintain back pressure in the pipework'. The 'low' here does not relate to the 'Low' switch setting on the Zig panel.
I have also now discovered that the continuously running external pump was caused by the pressure switch sticking in the 'On' position. I fitted a replacement switch and adjusted the pressure via its knurled knob and bingo!
Out of curiosity I dismantled the original switch, reassembled it & refitted it, and it too now works. There were no traces of gunge or perished diaphragms etc, so what caused it to stick remains a mystery.
(Whilst checking things out I am sure I disconnected the switch completely, which should have shut off the pump - so another puzzle, or was it just me?)
PS The reason I was not looking forward to doing continuity checking was that the wiring doesn't correlate to the handbook I had with the caravan, and it disappears behind the fridge immediately after the Zig unit. I just did not relish the thought of having to get the fridge out.
