We have been given the chance of an accident damaged caravan. It has a hole in the bottom left front corner where it has hit a wall. It has been checked and the chassis etc are all fine. We were considering doing a stop gap repair maybe fibreglassing it in. Has anyone done this before or would you advise to stay well away. Any advice welcome
Take a couple or three photos of the damage and get in touch with you nearest Caravan Medic for an estimate - at least you will know worst case cost for a professional job.
Make sure you check all your awning rail and the joint between the front panel and roof as the impact may have disturbed them.
There are companies who can do a real good job of repairing accident damage in ABS or fibreglass. All depends on the age of the caravan and what your looking to get out of it.
