I have a Fanmaster 4000 that trip the eletric every time it is switched on, the gas part runs fine. The light on the slide have not worked for a couple of years but the fire was ok. Now if i turn just the fan on it is ok but when the eletric element is turn on it trips the fuse. can any one help as i am unsure if this is the slide control or the PCB
The problem you have is that the elements are leaking to earth. There is no cure for this other than element replacement. We at Apuljack Engineering have designed our own replacement elements for the fanmaster series. We also have a free fitting guide to help you.
You can purchase them from Ebay <HERE> or directly from us for a reduced price (due to the Ebay fees).
Feel free to call us free on 0800 078 7081 for any technical advice.
