The plastic surround/frames of my lockers have discoloured and gone 'powdery'. Does anyone know how I can restore them?

Replacement is the only answer once the plastic has aged.

This may sound daft and I have never tried it myself
but google "peanut butter plastic trim"

has to be smooth not crunchy

Bought a jar to do better halfs Disco - but she ate it all before I got round to giving it a try.

Seen it recommended on a number of Car Forums and it is used by some detailer's

Health Warning not to be used by someone who suffers from a nut allergy

Well I've just tried this on my wife's Yaris and it is amazing stuff, brought all the black trims up beautiful, that's the last time I go spending on these so called black trim products, must have spent hundreds over the years, up to Aldi from now on, 60p a jar.

Replied to the wrong thread jeff?

Would it be possible to paint the plastic to brighten it up and act as a barrier against the elements?
