Hi everyone

I have just discovered that there is water ingress coming from my roof skylight in my Lunar Chateau 400. It has obviously been coming in for a bit but hasn't spread too far from the edge of the skylight itself.
As this was bought in a private sale recently I have no come back on the sale so I am where I am and have to make the best of the situation. Otherwise the van is in incredibly good condition for a 2003 model.
Any advice on how to make the best of this ? was thinking of ripping out all the old sealant around the skylight and redoing. Have a dehumidifier working internally to keep any further damp at bay.
Any advice on material to use or other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the roof skylight completely and clean off all traces of sealant.
Buy some Tape mastic and either put it around the opening or around the skylight itself refit trimming off any protruding mastic the point around the edge with Soudal sealer.
Leave the dehumidifier on as it will take a long time to dry out.
