so after tips?

this is our first caravan, was a little damp when we got it but ive dried it out now

need new curtains and the rail trim which hides the curtain rails

other than that, its all there!

ive got... gas cooker, heater, fridge
240v
12v
hot water heater

so questions...
the hot water i assume fills up from the cold water supply which looks to be a large water canister/container outwith the van?

there is a cassette toilet, ive no experience of that either, im guessing theres a bottle of something i can chuck through it to clean it?

window handles which secure onto the frame to lock the windows closed, i dont know if its a standard item, or not but a few are snapped, would like to replace them

other than that, it seems ok, just needing a tidy up!

Answers,....

Yes, You should have a length of pipe, say, a metre long and probably blue, with a plug type thing on one end and a filter or small pump on the other. It fits in the socket behind the flap near the water heater the other end goes into water container. Water heater drain valve must be closed of course before filling, and make sure water heater is switched off before powering up the mains..

Toilet cleaner can be bought in camping shops, if not that bad just get blue or green stuff for inside cassette and pink for flush water.

Window bits n bobs can be different types from different manufacturers, have a look at examples on line before ordering. Try leisureshopdirect.co.uk. Good luck.
