Hi, I am about to decorate the interior of our 1991 Globestar. There's lots of wood (I think it's real wood!) inside. Can anyone recommend best paint for the woodwork interior? Do I need a primer? I like the look of those vintage pastel paints, perhaps matt finish but would appreciate any advice. Many thanks Also I've noticed some people have decorated inside the external door etc - is this done with sticky back plastic?
You will have to seal the walls first with some thing like Poly Bond which is brushed on.This will seal the walls and will give the new paint some thing to stick to.
I used a matt gloss on one of my vans which was put on with a small foam roller with good results.
Your better to seal every thing first.I did not use a primer on the walls.I cant remember what i used on the cupboards but it was that fake grain paint you can buy
