Hi I have an Eriba Duo 1993 with a aklo 131R chassis.The draw bar is seized any ideas on getting out. After over an hour of bashing it with a big hammer it only moved about 2 inches.
Probably needs a press to separate it and dunk in in a cleaning bath and see if its just lack of servicing and a build up of grease and dirt or whether its a more serious rust or bearing issue.
it could have been greased with normal high melting point as opposed to a lithium based grease in the past, that can cause the poly bushes to swell up
you might want to take the whole assembly off and heat it up then use a hydraulic puller or big hammer to separate it, the bushes will be goosed anyway and the shaft will need a good clean up
This is the Eriba tube type front end, with, I think a complete bush assembly contained in the tube which can be replaced. Have you removed the vertical bolt(or maybe horizontal? I can't remember)located some distance back on tube? This bolt retains rear of hitch damper & also bush assembly so remove it & entire hitch assembly can be withdrawn.
