I'm going to blame the wife for this one...one of the side markers (the ones high up on either side of the van) got crushed when she was "watching" me pull the van out of a tight spot, repeating "keep going"... I blame her!

Anyway... I needed to replace the red/clear cover so I went to my local caravan accessories shop and bought the one that looked right, got it home and realised that it was the wrong size. The one I bought was a Jokon Oblong side marker light with red and white lense. Blulb included.

Measures approx: (H)90mm x (W)40mm x (D)37mm

But looking at the non-broken side the one i need measures closes to 85 x 43 x 32, I have been on eBay and all the caravan accessory shops I can see and cannot locate one.

Can anyone help?

I really would rather not replace the whole back plate as the holes would be in a different place and I would be worried about creating leaks in a relatively dry van.

Thanks in advance

Have a look at the selection of marker lights from this trailer company in the link below.

Thanks for the links tango and Harpmaker but unfortunately no such luck on either of those sites. i have a feeling I visited both of those sites via searching on Google.

Either Lunar used a custom part or its a part that is no longer made.

Anyone know of any caravan breakers who might be able to help?

Cheers

I can't believe they used a custom part, so assuming they used a commercially available part, it's likely spares are still around. Maybe if you posted a picture of the unbroken one someone may be able to identify it for you

Good plan Harpmaker.

Here are a couple of pictures with a tape measure in shot to show size.

Thanks

Thanks Harp, just concerned about the length of that being 92mm, im sure its not much more than 85mm when I measured it.

Although for £6.99 i might just buy one.

I didnt measure the base as it was still attached to the van.

I was just going to purchase that one at £6.99 and hope for the best, unfortunately the seller is away on holiday until after 15th may, and it wont let me purchase it so will have to wait for him to return.

Thanks for your help everyone
