Hi
Just new to the forum and looking for a little advice. Recently bought a Compass Vantage 1994 caravan and have just noticed that the rear corner floor is flaking and soft. There is no weight applied to this as there is a built in cupboard directly above it, nothing can be placed on it due to a low shelf. It looks like waste water from the sink hose connection underneath has been leaking at some point and has rotted the floor. I was wondering if a quick patch of fibreglass would do as a temporary job as I only intend keeping the van about a couple of years until we get a newer one. This is our first van and have spent a bit of money repairing the main floor due to delamination. Don't have enough d.i.y. experience to start cutting out panels and thought fibreglass would maybe prolong the floor a little longer. Any advice would be appreciated. The repair would only be about 6"×4" approx.
                  Thanks

Isopon P40 which is glass reinforced car body filler works well. Just ensure wood is dry, poke out any loose rot then knock up some P40 a bit at a time & fill hole. It will go off in about 20mins so building up several layers works best & on an old caravan the repair is permanent.
