My son bought the Omega last year but there is no charger in it. I have an Amperor 3 stage battery charger for it but no wiring diagram for the caravan.
The caravan has a Zig CP3 G distribution panel. Ideally I need a wiring diagram for the caravan and a manual would be very handy.
The mains unit is a 6A fuse Hager RCD box. Which fuse rating should I use since the 6 amp trips very easily?
In eager anticipation.

Compass are one of the Explorer Group caravans, which includes Elddis. Archived brochures (some of which may include wiring diagrams) can be found here http://www.elddis.co.uk/help-support/brochure-downloads?archive=1 , but you'll need to know the year of manufacture.
Sorry, can't help with the charger part of your post.

No luck. The van is 1990 and the manuals end in 2000. Had a look in somes of them but the were floor plans an technical specs. Thanks once again.

Modern caravan consumer units have a RCD main switch then usually a 10amp and a 6amp MCB feeding separate circuits. The site supply can be 6, 10 or 16 Amp depending on the site.

If you uprate from 6 amp you must be certain the cabling in the van will take it.

Have u looked under van mine had a black box underneath turned out to be a transformer / charger omega 1990

I've yet to look under the van but it's a bit wet now. I've only had it a day. I've wroked out the wiring by going after the wire colours but I need to check these out with a curcuit checker.
