Just bought a 2007 Elddis Avante . Got a problem with the Thetford N80 fridge.

The fridge will cool to 4 degrees on 240 hookup with temp selector on full. Move the temp selector back slightly and it goes to about 10 degrees.
When on full temp selector at 4 degrees it will rise to around 12 degrees if I put food in it straight from the house fridge. Not overloaded just a bit of salad, butter, cheese, couple of apples, carton of milk and bottle of fruit juice. The temp then won't drop again.

The freezer is at -11degrees and will keep things frozen and even froze some mince from fresh yesterday.

On gas the indicator moves into the green band but won't cool down passed 10-12 degrees either.

I checked the thermometer this morning after a cooler night and the fridge is slightly colder at 9 degrees.

Any ideas? It is just the thermostat or the temp selector too?
I'm in the North Norfolk area.
