my trauma heater works ok off mains electric but off gas it's a no no a m8 took the cover off for us to have a look and he found the probe just hanging there so I need an engineer to sort this out does anyone know anyone s.wales bristol west Wales etc who can sort this out?

How old is your van? Know this will help us know what fire you have in the van. Also abit more info on this 'probe' you found? Normally when you remove the fire fronts you can see a few different things. Is the fire an automatic ignition type or do you have to manually press an ignition button?

I dont think that is your problem but you do need an engineer.
