Hello I have an 1994 Avondale but the kitchen light a lumo1 has stopped working checked bulb in another fitting and it worked removed it from the cables tried a tester on the wires and it lit up
But instead of replacing it with the same lumo1 I was thinking of using led lights as I have some IKEA ones at home would these be OK to use they are the ledberg ones which are a 2w strip light as opposed to the 8w lumo light
Just looked at the Ikea info.They are supplied with a mains transformer which will be voltage regulated. If you wire the only LEDs to run off the caravan battery direct you may find that when the caravan is on a mains hook up with the battery charger on, the voltage will be around 13.9 volts which may be to high for them.
