Hi folks, I'm thinking of putting on some window blinds Cassette type on my caravan. When I got it none were on it, just curtains on front an back and some basic pulldown blinds on side windows. I did find two cassette ones in a cupboard for side windows, so will probably stick these back up.

How do I know whats required for the front and possibly the back? I have looked eBay and the sizes don't seem to be standard. I have three windows on the front the largest middle one is an opening window but the smaller left and right ones are non-openers.

My van is a1993 Fleetwood Crystal 148-4.

Your help is very much appreciated. Open to ideas.

Best regards

Sizes and shapes vary a huge amount so a one size fits all is not available.

They usually come on a range of sizes that maybe in 10mm steps but you will need to measure all the windows and they are not cheap.

Hi, i had same problem, just curtains and no blinds. I have 3 windows at front, 2 side windows at front, 1 large rear and 2 small side rear windows. I was going to cost me a fortune on blinds, so as my van is 24 years old, i opted for a material called thermawrap. Look it up on amazon, its a reflective foil insulation material, about 3.7mm thick, i cut out the shapes i needed for each window with about 1 inch overhang all around and used sticky velcro cut into squares to hold the material on at night. In the morning i pull it off and roll it up and store in the wardrobe or under the bench seats. I did each window and it cost me 2 rolls of material at about 35 quid a roll and a few pounds for the velcro tape, i also used some duck tape i had sitting around to tape the edges of the thermawrap so as when i was pulling it off in the morning it was a bit more sturdy, cheap and cheerful, and works well, total black out and also insulation. Just an idea for you.
