Hi all,
I have an Enduro Quattro motor mover on my van, it's about 6 years old I guess, we had if transferred from our old van when we changed 2 years ago.
The problem is that it will move an inch or so then stop, it will then (sometimes) emit a long bleep and the light on the handset will flash for a minute or so. I then have to reset it. It will then move maybe another inch before stopping. The green light on the receiver also flashes repeatedly.
It will keep up the infuriating routine for maybe 20 minutes then it will behave itself?
I've replaced the batteries in the handset, the leisure battery is in good condition and the right one for the job.
It worked fine (of course) when in for a service but keeps letting me down when I need it most.
Any sugestions welcome?

Green flashing = battery voltage.
Caravan battery voltage dropping under load?
Count the number of flashes on the control unit. x number of flashes then a slight pause.

We had this when we had an Enduro. If possible put a multimeter on the caravan battery and get someone else to see what the voltage drops to when the mover is operated. If it drops below 11.5 volts the battery needs replacing with a new 110amp one.If OK then put the meter on the control box input terminals inside the caravan with someone inside the caravan and check volts there when operating. If volts drop down this then means there is a bad connection between the battery and the control box.

Thanks, will check the battery with a multimeter later. Gauge on the control panel inside the door suggests that it is all good - but will check.
I've just downloaded a manual, and it says flashing green LED light means the remote is 'out of range'?

Hi, we have checked the battery and terminals with a multimeter. I can confirm that there is enough juice in it to do the job.
Just tested it again without engaging the wheels and it did the usual - worked then stopped straight away. The green LED light was flashing rapidly to denote that the remote was out of range (according to the manual).
I then turned it off then on again and it ran faultlessly for about 10/15 minutes until I got bored.
So I'm stumped, and a little nervous about relying on it for my next trip at the weekend. I'm guessing the fault lies with either the transmitter or the receiver?

I had the same happening, make sure nothing is blocking the aerial. I even stood right next to the van and had the same problem. I eventually found I went inside the van with meter on the input terminals whilst wife operated it outside and voltage was dropping to around 10 volts.I replaced the red isolator switch and a lot better with little drop in voltage. A big improvement but still after that it occasionally did it perhaps going 15 mins at a time. When I bought a new van I left it on and fitted a powrtouch and same battery on it which has now been on present van 3 years trouble free.

It's not really much good only checking the battery voltage without the mover in operation. It will drop a lot.

Meant to say - we checked with the mover on and off, no real change of voltage

Interesting, will have a look tomorrow. Thanks

There should be a change in voltage if the movers engaged and the vans actually moving. I forget the specs but 20amps per motor under load?
The voltage should be changing.
You need to count the green flashes. The number of flashes will tell you where the fault is. Flashing green doesnt just mean remote out of range.
How many green flashes?
It will flash different codes with an under or overvolt condition etc.

Thanks for your replies.
The green LED flashes way too rapidly for me to count them and continues to do so until I reset it with the power button on the handset.
The handset says it is a an Enduro Quattro but it says E-go on the mover itself. Not sure if that makes a difference but I've downloaded the manual for that too and for a green flashing light advice is the same.
Any issues with the voltage (according to the manual) are signified by the red LED flashing and indeed it advises to count them to desipher the issue (too high or too low etc) The red LED has not flashed at all so I guess I can assume that all is well in that department?

Ive also checked the earial and can report that it is not obstructed, the control unit is mounted under the wardrobe and right behind the battery box.

Your mover is made by Purpleline they are based in Suffolk. I have the same mover albeit on a twin. One of our motors starts then stops it's a problem with the control unit under the seats ours is 4 years old and still under warranty. The problem for us is they have no engineers on the road so I have to get the parts to them for replacement, because They don't want the caravan taken to them.
Needless to say my next mover won't be a purpleline.

Hi all,
I called in to Canterbury Caravan this afternoon, they provided me with spare handset they had, which seems to work fine. Big test this weekend when we go away again.
