I need to replace two rubber brackets on my awning as one has torn off and the other is deteriorated. The rubber seems too thick to sew on and I would doubt that a glue would have a strong enough bond. Has anyone fitted one of these or any other rubber attachment.

If you can't find one, there are little plastic brackets available although they need screwing to the side of the caravan

We had a firm put an extra beading onto our awning, so that we could use the conventional pads. Think it cost about 30-40 quid.
