Hello folks,

We've just upgraded our caravan from a 1992 Abbey Cabaret to a 2004/5 Abbey Acclaim SL.

Unfortunately this van doesn't have keys. I there a way I can get a key cut for it? Or would replacing the whole lock be the only way?

I'm not sure what make and model the lock is.

Easiest way is to get a new lock barrel which will come with keys. I assume door is unlocked? Barrel is easy enough to remove from inside of door. Take it out & take to caravan shop to match up. Caravan door locks are fairly standard items there are not many different makes.

Abbey may have a database of the original key/lock fitted at manufacture, worth a phone call or email.

I've just replaced our door lock. Cost £22 fitted myself took 15 mins.

I just googled caravan door lock, changed to images and looked till
I found one the same as current one.
