The hardest part was removing and replacing the brass bung.
Bought glycol and water from Halfords, about £30.
Removed bung, about 2 1/2 Litres drained into the bucket.
Poured 2 1/2 L de ionised water into header tank, this resulted in another 2 1/2 L draining into the bucket.
Made a temporary bung out if a piece if dowel, bunged the drain and put 2 1/2 L water in header tank and ran the pump for a minute.
Removed the temp bung, poured 2 1/2 L water into header tank, causing another 2 1/2 L of now almost clear water to drain.
Poured 1L neat glycol into header tank and replaced the temp bung, ran the pump, drained off 2 L which was now turning red.
Replaced brass bung, topped up with neat glycol and ran the pump.
Letting it settle before I see if it needs bleeding.
The drain pipe/ bung was under off side , near wheel arch. My caravan is on my drive and I only had an 18 inch gap between the van and the fence, to work in.Would be easier with more space..
I was a bit apprehensive about doing it, however it was quite straight forward.
I rang ALDE a couple of times and they were VERY helpful.
You make it sound easy to do. BTW how did you dispose of the old fluid that contained anti freeze and was removed from the system as it is illegal to dump it down a drain?
I will be taking it to our recycling centre tomorrow, I put it in the empty glycol containers.
Yes, it was easy, but if your time is valuable, pay someone to do it, probably £150+.

We wanted to do it ourselves but did not know where we could dump the old stuff as we were not aware that the recycling place could handle it. Thanks for the tip.
I used Comma G40 X stream, however, there is a video on the ALDE website showing the different glycols available. Halford's own OAT glycol is there, the implication is that they are all suitable.
