Hi,
caravan is 2011
I have a problem with the truma ultraheat not working on 2000w
the fire works fine on 1000 and 500w, does this sound like the pcb has one of the relays gone?.
Also is the pcb in a grey case near the floor on the back of the fire and is it easy to remove because access is through top of the cutlery draw and is tight, dont want to take fire out if possible any help would be great thanks------------- beer, beer and more beer!

My guess is that you are correct in suspecting a relay on the PCB has failed.

There is more than 1 element though. I dont have the diagram to see how they are configured.
Worth downloading to see how they get the different power outputs from 2 elements.

get an electric blow air heater, chances are you will have to remove fire for access, poor design, but for pcb it will have to come out.

Can Gary or somebody tell me if you can get to replace the two overheat thermostats on the ultraheat without removing fire? as its either these or the pcb, the fire will have to come out if its the pcb as i cannot get to it easily, problem i have is i keep my van in storage so have no way of plugging it in to test until on site.
This is what happened within 6 month
heater started not working on 2000w
green lights on wall thermostat all good
heater only worked on 1000w and 500w
all lights on wall thermostat still green
last trip out heat not working on any setting
all light on wall thermostat still green
Clicking of replays present still on all settings
thank you------------- beer, beer and more beer!
