Am new to caravaning and I just wondered if you can re seal where the pvc wall meets the shower tray? The existing seal looks very hard as if it isn't silicone, and looks as if it's cracking, the van is 10 hours old, what's best way to re seal? Put new over the top or try and remove the hard sealant which is existing, I know what silicone looks and feels like but this existing stuff doesn't doesn't seem to be it
Stuff to use is polyurethane sealant/adhesive. Brand names like Sikaflex 512, Tigerseal, PU18 etc. carefully dig out as much old sealant as you can using a plastic scraper or piece of wood & then reseal.
