I have air awning replacement bladders do they go inside the grey tubes I already have or not as they seem a lot longer

Usually the excess is rolled up at the foot of the tube. Take some photos when you open up the existing ones if you're concerned. It's also worth checking the condition of the grey tubes whilst you're at it, as these elements are more prone to failure than the inner bladders.
