I am back for help. It seems like old tourers are like the forth bridge when it comes to maintenance.

I have discovered battery compartment dropping and found that floor appears to have gone soft in front right corner. This is also evident inside as shelf beneath front window has stopped down also.

I found some historic repair on underside amidst damp. I have repaired similar in the past but am concerned that this is by corner steady. Is this repair achievable for a min professional and what is best approach? Is it and of line for my Compass?

I have taken some photos but can't seem to upload them...
